Phillip Curtis
Phillip grew up in the area and brings a wealth of practical expertise to In Stitches. Before embarking on this creative venture, he honed his skills working on large commercial building projects, mastering tasks like framing, sheetrock, and other hands-on trades. Phillip’s meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills are evident in every project he tackles. He also enjoys contributing to the shop's operations, ensuring every piece meets their high-quality standards.
Elisabeth Curtis
Born and raised in Arizona, Elisabeth brings a unique perspective to In Stitches. Her lifelong love of crafting and artistry fuels her passion for embroidery and handmade goods. Elisabeth takes pride in designing custom creations that tell a story and bring joy to customers. With access to cutting-edge tools like a direct-to-film printer, she constantly pushes creative boundaries while staying rooted in timeless techniques.
Their Journey
The Curtises moved back to Phillip’s hometown five years ago after living in Idaho, bringing their dream of owning a family-run business to life. Married for ten years and proud parents of two children, ages 9 and 3, they understand the value of handmade items that carry meaning and warmth. Their participation in artisan markets and love for community connections inspired them to create a space where creativity thrives and customers can find unique, heartfelt gifts.
